Job summary

Client of Brunel in Qatar seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead communications between the Doha Customer Project team and the Florence team from kickoff to close-out.

You will coordinate daily meetings, draft weekly and monthly reports, manage local suppliers and material deliveries to Ras Laffan, and monitor repairs at Qatar Service Center. Strong English, leadership, and cross-functional influence are essential.

Qualifications

• Have a bachelor's degree in engineering and 7+ years of experience in Project Management, preferably for large EPCs companies, OEMs or end users in installation and commissioning related roles.
• Have excellent oral and written communication skills, be fluent in English and master presentations at executive level.
• Demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset and exhibit strong behavioral, influencing, and leadership competencies.
• Have a thorough knowledge of T&Cs glossary and dynamics, including contractual provisions, risks, claims and remedies management.
• Have good background in Gas Turbines, Steam Turbines, Compressor technologies.
• Have structured problem solving mindset with experience in managing site activities and resources; ability to influence without authority and lead technical decisions.
• Customer-focused mindset with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams without direct authority.
• Strong planning, prioritization, and organizational capabilities.
• Continuous improvement mindset and proactive attitude.
• Experience working with suppliers, customers, manufacturing teams, and field organizations in a project-driven environment.
• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, international environment.

Responsibilities

• Be the focal point in Qatar for the project, managing communication between Customer Project team in Doha and Florence team from Kick off to Close Out.
• Arrange daily meetings to share punctual progress and manage criticalities; escalate to Senior PM in Florence when needed.
• Draft weekly reports and contribute to the Monthly report with input from deputy team and Florence senior team.
• Manage local suppliers and materials delivery to Ras Laffan site from dispatch in Qatar; coordinate customs clearance with Customer.
• Monitor repairs at Qatar Service Center and provide progress updates to Customer and project team.
• Attend technical meetings, support outage preparation, and ensure smooth, clear communication among Customer, BH, and suppliers.
• Monitor site KPIs and share site reports; act as Customer focal point.
