Job summary

Greenland Group in Qatar is seeking an experienced Instrumentation Technician to install, calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot industrial instrumentation and control systems. The role requires reading P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, and wiring schematics, with focus on calibration of pressure, temperature, and flow instruments.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance, assist in commissioning and loop checks, and ensure accurate calibration records while following safety procedures

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in instrumentation maintenance.
• Experience with industrial automation systems.
• Knowledge of instrumentation and control equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, calibrate, maintain, and troubleshoot instrumentation and control systems.
• Calibrate pressure, temperature, flow, level instruments and related devices.
• Troubleshoot transmitters, control valves, sensors, switches, gauges, and loops.
• Read P&ID drawings, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams and specs.
• Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance of instrumentation equipment.
• Perform instrument calibration using standard testing equipment.
• Check and maintain pneumatic and electronic control systems.
• Assist in commissioning, testing and loop checking of new instruments.
• Identify faults and carry out repairs or replacements.
• Maintain calibration records, maintenance reports and technical docs.
• Adhere to plant safety procedures and company standards.
