Job summary
TradesApp seeks an experienced I&C Technician to perform preventive and corrective maintenance on field instruments and automation systems in Qatar. You will install, calibrate, test, and troubleshoot pressure/level/temperature devices and analyzers, while supporting commissioning and startup activities.
The role requires knowledge of PROFIBUS, Siemens PLCs, Yokogawa CENTUM VP, and diagnostic tools, with a focus on ensuring reliability of DCS/SCADA networks and control loops.
Qualifications
- Diploma/technical certificate in instrumentation, electronics, electrical engineering or automation.
- PLC/SCADA certifications are a plus.
- Experience with instrumentation and control system maintenance is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive and predictive maintenance on field instruments.
- Troubleshoot instrumentation and control system failures.
- Repair and replace defective instruments and control components.
- Maintain calibration records and maintenance reports.
- Install, calibrate, and test pressure transmitters, flow meters, level transmitters, and other analyzers.
- Maintain PLC/RTU/HMI/SCADA system reliability and assist in commissioning.
- Support valve testing, tuning, and control system diagnostics.
