Department: Digital Solutions & Technology

Reports to: Section Head – Business Solutions

Role Objective

Act as the key link between IT and business units to ensure technology solutions align with business goals. Drive digital transformation, manage stakeholder relationships, and oversee the delivery of scalable, value-driven tech solutions.

Industry Experience/ Exposure:

  • Banking (Preferably)*
  • Financial Services

Key Responsibilities

Strategic & Operational

  • Build strong relationships with business units to understand their goals and align IT strategies.
  • Identify digital opportunities and define KPIs for transformation.
  • Support digital adoption and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate on IT budgets, business cases, and investment planning.
  • Ensure alignment of tech projects with business and IT strategies.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
  • Monitor project progress, risks, and compliance with governance standards.
  • Stay updated on digital trends and best practices.

People Management

  • Allocate tasks and guide team members.
  • Support career development and training.
  • Provide performance feedback and coaching.

Note: This person will be coordinating with the IT Project Manager and the IT Business Analyst and the Business (Stakeholders).

Key Interactions

  • Internal: Strategy, Business Units, IT, BI, Distribution Networks, Subsidiaries, Overseas Branches
  • External: Regulators, Service Providers, Consultants, Customers, Business Partners

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or related field. Master’s in Management/Technology is a plus.
  • Experience: 8–12 years in financial services/banking with experience in IT business partnership, project management, and digital transformation.
