Industrial Hygienist (IH)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Industrial Hygienist to provide guidance and coordination of occupational hygiene programs to ensure the recognition, evaluation, and control of workplace health hazards. This role involves technical expertise, development of occupational hygiene strategies, and support for the prevention of occupational illnesses across project sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct field inspections and audits related to noise, air quality, IAQ, and other industrial hygiene factors
• Provide industrial hygiene services to project sites in collaboration with HSE teams
• Anticipate, recognize, and evaluate potential health hazards, and recommend controls in line with OSHA and local regulations
• Develop and support risk improvement and regulatory compliance programs, coordinating implementation with project teams
• Provide technical expertise for industrial hygiene bulletins and guidance documents
• Deliver training to employees on industrial hygiene standards and practices
• Assist in the review of occupational disease incidents and recommend preventive measures
• Maintain and calibrate industrial hygiene equipment on a scheduled basis

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Industrial Hygiene or a related field
• Professional certification such as Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) preferred
• Minimum 5 years of industrial hygiene experience, ideally within the oil and gas sector
• Demonstrated ability to apply industrial hygiene technology and field consultation practices
• Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to train and motivate site personnel
• Proven problem-solving skills with experience in incident investigations and risk assessments
• Proficiency in safety management software and reporting tools
