The role requires strong understanding of Indian customs, exceptional communication, and superb organizational skills to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Wedding Planner focused on Indian weddings.
• Strong understanding of Indian customs and traditions.
• Excellent communication with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills.
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to discuss their vision, budget, and preferences for their wedding.
• Develop detailed timelines and budgets for each event leading up to the wedding day.
• Source and negotiate with vendors including venues, caterers, photographers, decorators, etc.
• Coordinate with vendors to ensure all details are executed according to the client's wishes.
• Provide guidance on cultural traditions and customs for weddings.
• Manage guest lists, RSVPs, seating arrangements, transportation, accommodations, etc.
• Oversee rehearsals and coordinate the actual wedding day events.
• Troubleshoot issues during planning or on the wedding day.
• Stay updated on current wedding industry trends to offer innovative ideas.
