Job summary

A leading company in the Oil & Gas industry is seeking an ICS Cyber Security Technician to manage and secure critical digital and physical cybersecurity systems. The successful candidate will ensure optimal functioning and monitoring of cybersecurity measures, coordinate maintenance efforts, and assist in training relevant personnel. Candidates should have a solid background in cybersecurity with industry-recognized certifications and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience in OT Cybersecurity Operations required.
• Two years' work experience in cybersecurity preferred.
• Associate degree or equivalent experience in related field.

• Perform PM & CM for DCS, SIS & ICS Cybersecurity assets.
• Update patches and antivirus on ICS assets.
• Support backup and recovery processes for cybersecurity assets.

Job Description

Minimum Qualifications

• Associate degree in computer information systems or related discipline. Relevant experience may substitute for the degree on a year-for-year basis.
• Two years of work experience in cybersecurity, including securing and monitoring multiple platform and network configurations, and utilizing security management tools.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in OT Cybersecurity Operations.
• Good communication and reporting skills.
• Preferable certificates: CCNA, A+, N+.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform PM & CM for DCS, SIS & ICS Cybersecurity assets.
• Update patches and antivirus on ICS assets.
• Support backup and recovery processes for DCS, SIS & ICS cybersecurity assets.
• Collect data for DCS, SIS & ICS assets related to projects and perform field checks.
• Maintain and troubleshoot network and power cables, perform field housekeeping, and install new cybersecurity assets.
• Prepare materials for cybersecurity projects, label network cables, and install power supplies.
• Coordinate with maintenance for non-DCS assets, perform cybersecurity-related PM, and support physical asset hardening.
• Support user access control and daily fieldwork tasks.
