Job summary

The Ritz-Carlton Doha is seeking a Non-Management Food & Beverage leader to supervise operations while upholding hygiene and food safety standards.

You will train and coach staff, assist in hiring and scheduling, and provide technical guidance on product labeling to meet government requirements. Qualifications

• Education and supervisory experience as listed in the preferred qualifications.
• Experience in hospitality with a focus on food safety and hygiene.
• Ability to lead and coach a team in a luxury hotel environment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate operations in compliance with hygiene and food safety standards.
• Advise on proper food handling practices and provide food hygiene training for all new hires and trainees.
• Identify key areas of risk in various food operations and take preemptive remedial action.
• Provide technical advice on product labeling to fulfill government requirements.
• Assist management in hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling, disciplining, and motivating and coaching employees.
• Follow safety policies; report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions; ensure professional appearance.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health or Culinary

2 to 4 years of related work experience

1 year of supervisory experience

License or Certification: None
