Job summary

Met T&S Ltd. seeks an experienced HVAC Site Engineer for multiple EPC projects across the GCC region, including Qatar, Saudi Arabia and UAE.

The role focuses on detailed planning, procedure review, and ensuring compliance with design and ITP requirements during construction and commissioning phases. Required are a university-level qualification and 7–8 years in industrial construction of large gas plants, with strong communication, teamwork and problem-solving abilities to drive timely

Qualifications

• University Degree or Diploma in a relevant discipline or equivalent.
• Significant experience in industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.
• 7-8 years of relevant experience in similar roles.

Responsibilities

• Review detailed procedures, plan daily activities, and prioritise HVAC construction tasks.
• Verify that HVAC site activities comply with approved designs, procedures, ITPs and schedules.
• Coordinate with HVAC Supervisors, E&I Supervisors, automation teams, vendors and subcontractors.
• Assist site team with completion activities, punch list, mechanical completion readiness and system energization.
• Support commissioning phase: functional tests, TAB, control logic verification, equipment tests, training, startup and operations support.
• Assist in managing vendor specialists and subcontractor teams for field execution and handover of final documentation.

Duties and responsibilities

• Supportdetailed procedure review, daily planning, and prioritization of HVACconstruction, pre-commissioning and commissioning activities.
• Verifythat HVAC site activities are carried out in accordance with theapproved HVAC design, approved procedures, project schedule, qualityrequirements, and Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs).
• Coordinatewith HVAC Mechanical Supervisors, E&I (Electrical &Instrumentation) Supervisors, Automation and Control Supervisors,vendors, subcontractors, and the Owner’s Commissioning Team.
• Supportthe Site Team:

duringthe construction phase: in completion activities, punch list management,Mechanical Completion readiness, and system energization;

duringthe commissioning phase: in the execution of functional tests, air and waterbalancing (TAB), verification of control logics implemented in automationpanels, equipment operational test runs, seasonal testing, personneltraining, plant start-up, and operation and maintenance support.

• Assistin managing vendor specialists and subcontractor teams, ensuringeffective field execution of HVAC activities and the proper preparationand handover of final documentation.

Knowledge & Qualifications

University Degree orDiploma in relevant discipline or equivalent.

Experience

Significant experience inthe industrial construction of large or XL gas plants.

Covered a similar role inat least 2-3 projects of comparable size.

Aminimum of 7-8 years of relevant experience.
