Job summary

Qatar Project Management (QPM) invites applications for an experienced HSE professional to lead and support safety initiatives in line with Barwa Real Estate Development Company standards. The role emphasizes auditing, incident investigations, and maintaining the HSE system across projects.

Ideal candidates hold an engineering background with NEBOSH/NVQ4 certification and 8–10 years of HSE experience, ready to coordinate with contractors and manage documentation in a dynamic environment in Doha.

Qualifications

• Graduates in engineering with HSE focus or equivalent.
• 8–10 years of experience in the HSE function.
• Auditing skills (OHSAS 18001/ISO14001) and HSE office planning experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operations comply with the latest safety regulations and legisla tion.
• Coordinate with Contractors HSE personnel.
• Plan and carry out HSE inspections and report unsafe acts/conditions.
• Participate in planned HSE meetings and audits.
• Maintain the HSE management system and document control.
• Issue HSE documents and correspondences in a timely manner.
• Assist with accident/incident investigations and weekly/monthly reporting.

Job description

Provides Project Management with continuous advice and support to ensure that HSE remains an integral part of the Project equal in priority to operations and profitability.

Main Activities (This is not the complete list):

• To ensure the operations to comply with the latest legislative requirements on safety aspects
• To coordinate with the Contractors HSE personnel
• To plan and carry out HSE inspection, to report any unsafe acts and conditions, ensure correct and proper recording of all inspections and finding
• Participate in planned HSE meetings
• Conduct HSE audits as per planned schedule, compile reports for HSSE Managers review
• Maintain the HSE management system, ensure filing and arching is in place and maintained
• To ensure all necessary document, instructions and correspondences related to HSE will be issued in the professional and timely manner
• Assist with accident incident investigation
• Report weekly monthly as required by the HSSE Manager

Skills and Experience (This is not the complete list):

• Graduate in engineering (NEBOSH General Certification, NVQ4 or equivalent preferred)
• Candidates should have 8-10 years experience in HSE function
• Auditing skills (OHSAS 18001/ISO14001)
• Experience in Planning and Organizing of HSE office and systems
