Job summary

Wyndham Hotels & Resorts EMEA is seeking a Housekeeping Supervisor in Doha to oversee daily housekeeping and public area cleaning, ensuring guest room and facility cleanliness align with hotel standards. You will coordinate schedules, train staff, manage inventories, and liaise with Front Office to update room statuses.

The role requires knowledge of PMS, safety regulations, and strong leadership to maintain high service quality across all areas of the hotel.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising housekeeping staff
• Knowledge of hotel housekeeping standards and procedures
• Familiarity with health and safety regulations
• Ability to manage inventories of supplies and linens
• Proficiency with basic computer applications (Excel, Word, email)

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of housekeeping attendants and public area cleaners.
• Inspect guest rooms, corridors, and public areas for cleanliness and standards compliance.
• Assign daily work schedules and room allocations to staff.
• Train new employees on procedures, safety, and policies.
• Monitor inventory levels of cleaning supplies, linens, and amenities.
• Report maintenance issues and follow up with engineering.
• Ensure proper documentation of lost and found items.
• Handle guest requests and complaints related to housekeeping.
• Maintain health, hygiene, and safety standards across areas.
• Prepare attendance records, leave schedules, and evaluations.
• Coordinate with Front Office on room status updates.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and its proper use.
• Conduct staff briefings and motivate team members.
• Monitor productivity and service quality to meet standards.
• Assist the Housekeeping Manager with reports and audits.
