The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's or Diploma in Hotel/Hospitality Management, 3–5 years in luxury hotel housekeeping with supervisory experience, strong leadership, communication, and attention to detail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel with supervisory/managerial experience.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving abilities; attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public areas and back-of-house areas.
• Ensure rooms and public areas meet luxury service and cleanliness standards.
• Supervise, coach, motivate and develop housekeeping supervisors and staff.
• Plan staffing schedules, room assignments, daily workload and priorities.
• Coordinate with Front Office for accurate room status and readiness.
• Monitor inventory and coordinate with Engineering on maintenance issues.

We invite you to join the world of luxury hospitality at Raffles amp Fairmont Doha as our new Housekeeping Manager. The Housekeeping Manager is responsible for leading the housekeeping operation across the two properties ensuring exceptional standards of cleanliness, presentation, guest comfort, service and operational efficiency. The role requires strong leadership, attention to detail and close coordination with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other departments.

• Lead and manage daily housekeeping operations across guest rooms, suites, public areas and back-of-house areas
• Ensure all rooms and public areas consistently meet Raffles and Fairmont luxury service and cleanliness standards
• Supervise, coach, motivate and develop housekeeping supervisors, room attendants, housepersons and other team members
• Plan staffing schedules, room assignments, daily workload and departmental priorities
• Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, suites, public areas, VIP rooms and turn-down service
• Coordinate closely with Front Office to ensure accurate room status and timely room readiness
• Monitor and control housekeeping inventory, including linen, amenities, cleaning supplies, chemicals and equipment
• Coordinate with Engineering to report and follow up on maintenance issues and room defects
• Handle guest requests, complaints, preferences and service recovery in a professional manner
• Ensure compliance with hotel standards, health and safety regulations, hygiene, sanitation and fire safety procedures
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management and development of housekeeping colleagues
• Monitor departmental productivity, quality standards, operational KPIs and cost control
• Implement deep-cleaning schedules, preventive maintenance programs and continuous improvement initiatives
• Maintain effective communication and coordination with Front Office, Engineering, Laundry and other hotel departments
• Ensure proper handling and control of lost and found items
• Promote teamwork, employee engagement and a positive service culture
• Support sustainability initiatives and minimize wastage of water, energy, chemicals and supplies
• Ensure consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences in line with Raffles and Fairmont brand standards

Qualifications

What will you bring to this role? Bachelor s degree or diploma in Hotel Management, Hospitality Management, or a related field Minimum 3 5 years of housekeeping experience in a luxury hotel environment, with supervisory or management experience Previous experience in a five-star or luxury hospitality property is highly preferred Strong knowledge of housekeeping operations, room inspections, cleaning standards, and luxury guest service Proven leadership, team management, coaching, and training skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving abilities Good knowledge of health, safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards Experience with housekeeping systems and hotel property management systems Strong understanding of inventory management, cost control, and departmental budgeting Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced luxury hotel environment Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Proficiency in English; additional languages are an advantage Previous experience in Qatar or the Middle East is an advantage Embrace the Raffles & Fairmont brand promise and luxury in your role and in all your interactions Foster an inclusive environment where every individual feels valued and respected Create an environment where colleagues are empowered, supported and recognized
