Job summary

InterContinental Hotels Group, at voco Doha Central, seeks an Income Auditor to ensure revenue records are accurate, review daily transactions, and uphold strong internal controls in our pre-opening hotel.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or degree in Accounting or Finance, with at least 1 year of supervisory experience in Income/Night Audit in a hotel, and proficient use of Microsoft Office and hotel accounting systems.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in an Income Audit, Night Audit, or similar accounting role, preferably within a hotel environment.
• Strong knowledge of hotel revenue operations, accounting procedures, and internal controls.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills; able to work accurately under deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with hotel accounting systems.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work with different departments.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including month-end closing periods.

Responsibilities

• Audit daily revenue transactions from all hotel outlets, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Review and reconcile daily sales reports, cash collections, credit card transactions, and revenue postings.
• Verify supporting documents, adjustments, discounts, rebates, and complimentary transactions.
• Prepare daily revenue reports and provide accurate financial information to management.
• Ensure compliance with hotel policies, internal controls, and accounting standards.
• Investigate discrepancies and coordinate with relevant departments for resolution.
• Maintain organized records and support month-end closing activities.
