  • Experience negotiating broadcast rights and partnerships with sports organizations.
  • Strong leadership and cross-platform programming coordination.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.

Description Develop and oversee the creation and implementation of strategic plans for women's and girls' sports programming that align with the broader objectives of the organization, ensuring that all initiatives drive community engagement and athletic excellence. Develop and execute comprehensive community engagement strategies that integrate women's and girls' sports programming, fostering greater community involvement and participation. Manage and coordinate high-impact women's and girls' sports events and ensure the optimal utilization of sports facilities, maintaining high standards of operational efficiency and participant satisfaction. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including sports federations, community leaders, and partner organizations, to enhance women's and girls' sports programming and facility usage. Oversee the maintenance and operations of all sports facilities, ensuring they are safe, compliant, and equipped to support high-level sports and community activities. Evaluate and assess regularly the effectiveness of women's and girls' sports programs and the condition of facilities, providing data-driven insights and recommendations for continuous improvement. Provide leadership and direction to women's and girls' sports programming and facility management teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and professional growth. Ensure that all programs and facilities adhere to the highest health and safety standards, maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements. Oversee financial planning and resource allocation for women's and girls' sports programming and facility management, ensuring efficient use of funds and alignment with strategic goals. Lead all operational audits and management reporting on a regular basis, with the aim of driving business improvement. Explore and implement innovative approaches to women's and girls' sports programming and facility management, ensuring that the organization remains at the forefront of community engagement and sports excellence. Forge partnerships with international and regional sports federations, leagues, and organizations, showcasing the organization's facilities and community commitment to secure hosting rights for prestigious sports events. Create and promote unique women's and girls' sports offerings and events that align with international and regional league activities, ensuring that the organization stands out as a preferred location for both sports enthusiasts and the broader community. Lead weekly representation in the organization's Newsroom to highlight women's and girls' sports initiatives, ensuring alignment with Communications standards, enhancing visibility, and raising the overall quality of offerings. Support Creating Pathways by developing bridge programs from the community side, creating a platform for event execution and scouting initiatives. Collaborate with entities to support programming and event execution, provided these initiatives are aligned with the organization's strategic objectives. Perform other reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisor.


Minimum Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Communications, Sports Management or a related field.
  • Advanced degree or relevant certifications is a plus.
  • 6-8 years of relevant full-time work experience, 2 of which at a supervisory level, in sports programming or related fields, with a proven track record of successfully implementing and managing complex projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of the sports industry, including trends, key stakeholders, and regulations.
  • Knowledge of how to design programs that resonate with specific target audiences.
  • Capability to develop long-term sports programming strategies that align with organizational goals.
  • Proficiency in negotiating broadcast rights and forming partnerships with sports organizations and networks.
  • Strong ability to lead teams, manage schedules, and coordinate sports programming across multiple platforms.
  • Leadership experience in guiding a team is highly desirable.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to liaise with stakeholders and present programming ideas; Arabic proficiency is an advantage.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
