Job summary

Naufar seeks a Director, Psychosocial Interventions in Doha to provide strategic leadership, direction, and oversight for psychosocial services. You will align initiatives with national health priorities, ensure governance and quality, and lead innovative, evidence-based programs across addiction treatment, mental health, rehabilitation, recovery, and community reintegration.

The role requires 12–15 years in behavioural health with 7+ years in senior leadership, plus advanced degrees.

Qualifications

Doctorate in a relevant discipline is mandatory.
Master's degree in psychology, social work, or related field mandatory.
Bachelor's degree in psychology or related healthcare discipline mandatory.
Minimum 12–15 years in behavioural health or related settings with leadership experience.

Responsibilities

Provide strategic leadership and oversight for psychosocial interventions across services.
Lead governance, quality assurance, and performance outcomes.
Develop and implement innovative psychosocial programs and service redesign.
Foster multidisciplinary collaboration and high-performance teams.
Establish and monitor outcome measures and evidence-based practice.
Ensure regulatory compliance and professional standards.
Build strategic partnerships and represent the organization in forums.
Oversee workforce planning, budget management, and resource use.
Drive research, education, and professional development initiatives.
Advise the Chief Medical Officer on service development and strategy.
