Job summary

Mekdam Technical Services seeks a Head of HSE to oversee safety and environmental performance on large oil & gas projects. The role requires extensive leadership experience, especially in major greenfield/brownfield construction, with offshore brownfield exposure a must.

Candidates should hold a NEBOSH Diploma in OH&S and ISO 45001 Auditor qualification is a plus; 8+ years in supervising HSE management are expected. This is a senior, on-site leadership position in Qatar.

Qualifications

• NEBOSH Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety or equivalent.
• ISO 45001 Safety Auditor qualification or equivalent preferred.

Knowledge and/or Experience

• Minimum of 10-12 years broad experience in execution of major oil & gas projects, including at least 8 years involvement in the construction of major greenfield and brownfield projects.
• Minimum of 8 years experience in a supervisory capacity of Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) Safety Management (SM).

Minimum 6 years experience working in offshore brownfield construction projects.
