Airswift is seeking a Head of Cost Control to work with our client based in Qatar.

Job Purpose

Provide expert advice in cost allocation, planning, and stewardship for the Offshore Compression Project. Develop and update procedures to meet business needs during various project phases.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, Engineering, or related fields.
  • 10 years of experience in a related business function, including 6 years in the Oil & Gas industry, and 2 years in a supervisory or oversight role.

Key Accountabilities

  • Develop and maintain project cost control procedures and guidelines.
  • Ensure data integrity and accurate reporting of cost information.
  • Guide project teams and standardize cost control practices.
  • Create a unified cost allocation mechanism across EPCs.
  • Support funding package submissions and financial planning.
  • Develop forecast estimates and prepare annual work programs and budgets.
  • Maintain Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) and Cost Breakdown Structure (CBS).
  • Monitor contractor cost performance and recommend corrective actions.
  • Advise on potential cost issues and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Support EPC tenders and technical evaluations.
