TGP International in Doha seeks a friendly Cashier for a high-quality counter-service and self-service restaurant. You will process orders, handle payments, and assist customers with menu options to ensure accurate handovers to the service team.

Requirements include 2–3 years of cashier experience, POS familiarity, English fluency, and a willingness to upsell. Arabic is a plus; you must thrive in a fast-paced environment and keep the cashier area clean.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience as a Cashier in a high‑quality counter-service or self-service restaurant.
• Experience using POS systems and handling cash transactions.
• English language proficiency is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take orders accurately and process payments through the POS system.
• Handle cash, card, and other payment transactions correctly.
• Maintain knowledge of menu items, promotions, and options.
• Assist customers with menu selections and upsell where appropriate.
• Coordinate with kitchen and service team to ensure timely handovers.
• Prepare and hand over dine‑in and takeaway orders.
• Complete end‑of‑day cash reconciliation and closing reports.
• Report any cash discrepancies or POS issues to the supervisor.
