Job summary

Flyper in Doha, Qatar seeks an experienced Cashier to join our team. You will manage checkout transactions and assist customers with a friendly, precise service approach.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, issuing receipts, and maintaining an accurate daily record of sales, while ensuring pricing and product displays meet company standards. English fluency is required and prior POS experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of work experience as a cashier in a retail environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to handle cash transactions accurately.
• Attention to detail.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to learn new processes and procedures.
• Previous experience with point of sale systems is a plus.
• Fluency in English is required; knowledge of Arabic is beneficial but not necessary.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers upon entering the store or restaurant.
• Process payments (cash, credit/debit cards, etc.) accurately and efficiently.
• Issue receipts and change for customers.
• Assist customers with queries about products or services.
• Ensure all products are priced correctly and displayed in accordance with company guidelines.
• Maintain cleanliness of checkout area at all times.
