Michael Page is partnering with a leading diversified business group in Doha, Qatar, to recruit a senior communications leader. The role focuses on strengthening corporate reputation, elevating executive visibility, and shaping a best-in-class communications function across global markets.

The successful candidate will develop and execute the group's PR strategy, lead media relations, oversee press materials, advise senior leadership, and manage a high-performing team and budgets.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of progressive experience in public relations, corporate communications, or media relations leadership roles.
• Proven track record managing corporate reputation, media engagement, and executive communications in large organizations.
• Experience leading crisis communications and issues management in diversified groups or government-linked entities.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute the group's corporate communications and PR strategy.
• Lead media relations, press engagement, interviews, and announcements.
• Oversee press releases, official statements, and executive messaging.
• Advise senior leadership on reputation management and stakeholder communications.
• Develop executive visibility programmes, speeches, and thought leadership content.
• Lead crisis communication planning and reputational risk mitigation.
• Establish governance, standards, and messaging frameworks.
• Monitor media coverage and provide insights to leadership.
• Collaborate with business units to ensure consistent communication.
• Direct and develop a high-performing communications team and budgets.
