Overview

Our client based in Qatar is a major holding group of companies and have been operational for many years. The companies that have successfully been organically developed are mainly in the commercial, industrial and hospitality sectors. AP Executive have been exclusively retained to assist our valued client with sourcing an experienced and skilled and highly experienced General Manager to lead a wide range of company strategic objectives. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the holding company's operations, including management, finance, marketing, sales, and public relations. The General Manager will play a key role in driving business growth, improving efficiency, and ensuring the holding company's long-term success.

Responsibilities

• Senior role reporting to the board; ensure strategic objectives are in place to achieve profits and growth of the businesses.
• Be fully responsible for all major projects undertaken by the holding company and ensure operations run smoothly.
• Prepare and implement an annual business plan; manage budgets, cash flow and profits.
• Ensure all contractual agreements with clients are implemented and met.
• Line management of all project managers to ensure delivery of services to clients and achievement of planned results.

Qualifications / Experience

• Proven experience as a seasoned general manager having led a number of businesses, or in a similar current leadership role.
• Strong management skills, excellent financial analysis and forecasting and operational line management capabilities.
• Strong background in marketing, sales, and public relations.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, strategic thinking, informed decision-making, and effective problem-solving with a highly analytical approach.

Requirements

• Arabic-speaking candidates only, based in Qatar or willing to relocate to Qatar.
