Job summary

Prestige Greeters in Doha is seeking a dedicated gardener to maintain plants, trees, and flowers across designated outdoor spaces. You will plant, water, fertilize, prune, and help install irrigation systems while ensuring a neat, healthy garden.

The role is full-time and outdoors, with weekend or holiday work as needed. Candidates should be physically fit and have a passion for gardening and plant care, with good teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Prior experience as a gardener preferred.
• Basic knowledge of horticulture or landscaping techniques.

Responsibilities

• Planting new flowers trees and shrubs according to design plans
• Watering plants regularly and monitoring for signs of pests or diseases
• Applying fertilizers or pesticides as needed
• Pruning trees and shrubs to maintain their shape and promote healthy growth
• Maintaining lawns by mowing edging and weeding
• Removing debris and keeping garden areas clean and tidy
• Assisting with the installation of irrigation systems
• Reporting any issues or concerns with plant health to the supervisor

Job description

The role of a gardener is to maintain and care for the plants trees and flowers in a specific area This can include public parks private gardens or commercial spaces As a gardener you will be responsible for planting watering fertilizing and pruning plants to ensure their health and growth You may also be required to remove weeds rake leaves and mow lawns to maintain the overall appearance of the garden The ideal candidate for this position should have a passion for gardening and a good understanding of plant care They should also have physical stamina as this job involves a lot of manual labor such as digging and lifting heavy objects A basic knowledge of horticulture or landscaping techniques is preferred

Salary

The salary for this position is $1800 per month
