Job summary

Sightspectrum is seeking a Software Engineer to join our team in Qatar. You will work on full-stack development, API design, and cloud-based AI solutions, with hands-on use of Next.js, FastAPI, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Podman.

You will build, deploy and optimize web applications, APIs, and services, collaborate across teams on cloud platforms such as Azure, GCP, and related tools, and contribute to Sovereign AI initiatives and platform engineering efforts.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience in full-stack development with Next.js and FastAPI.
• Design and implement REST APIs and Web APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL databases and containerization (Docker/Podman).
• Exposure to AI solutions and modern cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain web applications using Next.js and FastAPI.
• Design and integrate REST APIs, Web APIs and Web Services.
• Work with PostgreSQL/Postgres databases.
• Build and deploy applications using Docker, Podman and Container Registry.
• Develop and integrate AI Agentic AI solutions using modern AI technologies.
• Work with Azure AI Services, GCP, MCP and A2A Support.
• API Management, DevOps, CI/CD and Platform Engineering activities.
• Contribute to Sovereign AI initiatives and cloud‑based application development.
• Troubleshoot and optimize applications, APIs and deployments.
