Job summary

Amentum is seeking an FHE Technician to perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on Fuels assets, ensuring compliance with PWS and QMS standards. Responsibilities include inspections, repairs, rebuilding engines and fuel components, calibrations, and TDY support.

The role requires two years of hands-on pumping systems and fuel engine experience, a High School diploma, and the ability to travel domestically and internationally. Work may be in a shop or outdoor environment.

Qualifications

• Excellent organizational skills and ability to read/write/speak English at beginner level.
• Interpreting technical pubs, maintenance action sheets, safety and environmental instructions.
• Ability to work with a diverse workforce from different cultural backgrounds.
• Valid home country driver’s license and ability to obtain host nation license.
• May operate military-type vehicles/equipment as required.
• Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve inbound equipment from the loading/unloading area.
• Evaluate overall condition of Fuels assets and related components.
• Perform visual inspections and functional checks.
• Repair mechanical, electrical and fuel servicing systems.
• Rebuild engines, fuel nozzles and fuel/air valves; replace hoses and air lines.
• Calibrate gauges and meters used on Fuels assets and related equipment.
• Document timesheets and work orders; requisition parts/materials.
• Perform corrosion control and apply preservation materials to equipment.
• Prepare Fuels assets for deployments; maintain work areas.
• TDY as directed by supervisors; perform other duties as assigned.
• Work in maintenance shop or warehouse; may work outdoors for extended periods.
