Job summary

India Abroad in Al-Khor is seeking a dynamic Customer Service Cashier to join our team. You will scan items, process cash and card payments, count cash at shift start and end, and keep the checkout area organized while delivering friendly, clear communication in English. Previous cashier or retail experience is preferred.

This full-time position includes accommodation and is open to Indian and Malayalee candidates who are fluent in English and hold a biometric passport for visa processing.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous cashier or retail experience preferred.
• Excellent communication skills in English (knowledge of Arabic is a plus)
• Basic math skills for accurate transaction processing
• Biometric passport required for visa processing.

Responsibilities

• Greeting customers with a warm welcome and offering assistance with their purchases
• Scanning items accurately using the point-of-sale system
• Processing cash, credit card, and other forms of payment
• Counting cash at the beginning and end of each shift to ensure correct amounts
• Maintaining an organized checkout area by restocking bags, receipts, etc.
• Answering customer inquiries professionally and resolving any issues or complaints
• Keeping track of inventory levels and notifying management when items need to be restocked
• Following all company cash handling procedures and policies
