Cashier (Malayalee Preferred)

We are currently seeking a friendly and customer-oriented Cashier to join our team at our busy retail store in Al-Rayyan. As a Cashier, you will be responsible for handling cash transactions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers as they enter the store and assist them with their shopping needs
• Scan and process items accurately at the checkout counter using a cash register or POS system
• Handle cash, credit, and debit card transactions and ensure that proper change is given to customers
• Answer customer inquiries and resolve any issues or complaints in a timely manner
• Maintain knowledge of all store products, promotions, and policies to provide accurate information to customers
• Keep the checkout area clean and organized at all times
• Follow all safety procedures and security measures in handling cash transactions

Requirements

• Fluent in English (Malayalam proficiency is preferred)
• Previous experience as a cashier or in customer service is an asset
• Familiarity with cash registers or POS systems is preferred
• Excellent communication skills and ability to provide exceptional customer service
• Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays

Salary

This is a contract job with a salary of 1300$ per month.
