- Inspect and maintain firefighting equipment, conduct fire drills, and train employees to ensure an effective firefighting system
- Design and maintain detection equipment, alarm systems, and extinguishing devices
- Supervise the installation and maintenance of manual and automatic fire suppression systems
- Conduct inspections and maintain records and reports
- Communicate emergency response procedures
