Job summary

malomatia is seeking a Project Manager to lead FinOps and Software Asset Management (SAM) delivery in Qatar. You will run the project team, coordinate with clients and vendors, and ensure timely and quality project execution across all activities.

You will develop detailed plans, manage budgets and risks, oversee procurement and contracts, and communicate with stakeholders through regular briefings. A solid PM background in cloud/finops and certifications is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, IT, or a related field; PMP/CAPM preferred.
• English required; Arabic preferred.
• 5+ years PM experience in FinOps/Cloud/technology delivery.
• Experience with waterfall and agile; multi-cloud environments.
• Procurement, vendor evaluation, and contracts administration.
• FinOps Certified Practitioner mandatory; PMP/CAP helpful.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans with scope, milestones, resources, timelines, and budgets.
• Coordinate internal resources and vendors to deliver on time, within scope and budget.
• Define project scope and objectives with stakeholders; ensure feasibility before kickoff.
• Ensure resource availability and allocate tasks across the team.
• Manage changes to scope, schedule, and budget with appropriate controls.
• Track performance with metrics and reporting.
• Conduct risk management and issue resolution.
• Manage client/vendor relationships via regular meetings and briefings.
• Create and maintain project documentation and dashboards for cost, savings, and utilization.
• Research and evaluate vendors; negotiate contracts per policy.
• Establish vendor standards and compliance guidelines.
• Build relationships with vendors; act as liaison to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues; escalate when needed.
• Demonstrate leadership to guide the team toward delivery.
