Job summary

Qualifications

• Must hold a degree in accounting and CPA certification.
• Experience in hotel finance management is essential.
• Strong knowledge of KSA financial regulations preferred.
• Fluent English is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor budgets with GM and Director of Sales & Marketing.
• Control operating expenses to meet financial targets.
• Forecast cash flows and manage working capital.
• Maintain fixed asset register and asset controls.
• Coordinate with legal/regulatory advisers for compliance.
• Produce monthly financial and management reports for corporate and owner.
• Conduct detailed forecast analysis and financial reviews.
• Oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll processes.
• Ensure daily/monthly bank reconciliations are accurate.
• Enforce Fraser Suites Doha and Frasers Hospitality policies in finance.
• Drive continuous improvement in finance processes.

We are looking for a Finance Manager to join Fraser Suites Doha and actively manage and report on the financial performance of the business with particular emphasis on cash flow management, cost control, profit enhancement and risk management practices.

What you’ll be doing as a Finance Manager:

• In consultation with the General Manager and Director of Sales & Marketing, prepare the financial budget for Fraser Suites Doha and submit to Corporate Office and the Owner in the specified format.
• Implement measures to control operating expenses to achieve financial objectives.
• Forecast and manage cash flows to ensure the efficient use of capital to meet business requirements.
• Manage the fixed asset register and implement measures to control the movement and/or disposal of assets.
• Liaise with internal/external legal advisors, consultants and regulatory authorities to ensure operational and legal compliance in all business dealings.
• Prepare and submit monthly financial and management reports on behalf of Fraser Suites Doha to Corporate Office and the Owner on a timely basis.
• Conduct detailed business forecast analysis.
• Ensure effective systems are implemented to manage accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll functions and the staff engaged to perform these duties.
• Preparation of the bank reconciliation on a daily and monthly basis.
• Ensure all Fraser Suites Doha and Frasers Hospitality policies and procedures as they apply to the financial operations of the business are adhered to at all times.
• Maintain a continuous improvement regime to ensure best practice measures are employed in all finance department related procedures.
• Actively manage all processes in compliance with the company’s Enterprise-wide Risk Management practices with specific emphasis on crisis management, business continuity and disaster recovery processes as they apply to the Finance Department.
• Implement and maintain systems that uphold the security and control of information, assets, cash and receivables belonging to the business.

What we’re looking for:

• English Speaking
• Experience in 5-star hotels in Saudi Arabia.
• Formal qualifications at tertiary level to degree standard in accountancy and completion of CPA.
• Prior experience within a hotel finance department at management or senior management level.
  Knowledge of KSA financial regulations and laws.
• Experience working within 5-star hotels within KSA is preferred.
• Strong working knowledge of KSA Zakat tax regulations.
• Confident in managing government tax audits.
• Competency in ACCPAC, SAP, HIS Epitome, Microsoft applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Vingcard and related hospitality proprietary software packages.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong organisational and work coordinating skills combined with an ability to handle multiple assignments and projects simultaneously
• Able to work with minimal supervision.
• Ethical, honest and possessing integrity.
• Ability to work to deadlines.
