Job summary

Arab Orient Insurance Brokers in Doha, Qatar, is seeking a Finance Manager to oversee the company's financial operations, ensuring IFRS compliance, strong internal controls, and strategic planning.

You will lead a finance team, manage tax filings under Qatar law, AML compliance with QCB, and coordinate with auditors, banks and regulators to enable informed business decisions.

This role requires CPA or similar, 5+ years in finance with 3+ in management, and expert IFRS knowledge.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field.
• CPA or equivalent professional certification preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of finance or accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role within the financial or insurance sector.
• Strong understanding of Qatar tax laws and regulatory frameworks.
• Expertise in Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures and QCB compliance.
• Solid knowledge of IFRS and complex financial reporting.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Manager with proven experience in financial institutions and/or the insurance industry. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, including complex accounting transactions, financial reporting, regulatory compliance (including tax and AML), and team leadership.
