Job summary

Salt Digital Recruitment is actively seeking experienced Finance & Accounting Sr. Associates to join a major finance transformation project in Doha on-site.

The role focuses on designing a Finance Target Operating Model for a public-sector organization and delivering high-quality outputs to senior stakeholders. You should have at least 3 years in finance and accounting, with strong budgeting, planning, reporting, and PowerPoint presentation skills.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of finance and accounting experience.
• Experience in public sector or government environment preferred.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Based in Qatar with valid residency/QID.
• Available to work onsite in Doha.

Responsibilities

• Support finance and accounting workstreams within a broader transformation project.
• Review existing finance processes and contribute to future-state operating model recommendations.
• Assist with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting.
• Analyze financial data and translate findings into clear recommendations.
• Prepare high-quality PowerPoint presentations, reports, and client deliverables.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand operational and financial requirements.
• Help identify opportunities to improve finance processes, governance, and reporting.
• Present findings and recommendations to client and management teams.

The successful candidates will support the design of a Finance Target Operating Model for a public-sector organization. This role is ideal for finance professionals with strong reporting, budgeting, and planning experience who can confidently prepare and present high-quality outputs to senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities:

• Support finance and accounting workstreams within a broader transformation project

• Assist with budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and management reporting

Requirements:

• At least 3 years of relevant finance and accounting experience
• Experience within the public sector or government environment is strongly preferred
• Strong knowledge of finance and accounting principles
• Good understanding of budgeting, financial planning, reporting, and finance processes
• Strong PowerPoint and presentation-development skills
• Ability to produce clear, professional, client-ready presentations
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Professional fluency in Arabic and English
• CMA, CPA, CFA, MBA, or another relevant professional qualification is preferred
• Currently based in Qatar with valid residency/QID
• Available to work onsite in Doha
