Job summary

MasterHR.com is looking for a Field Service Supervisor in Qatar responsible for Diesel engine troubleshooting, repairs, and customer interaction. The ideal candidate will have a degree in engineering, a management qualification, and a proven track record in managing large-scale work. Proficiency in Arabic and English is necessary. The total compensation package is 15,000 RQ plus a family ticket.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Technical) and Management qualification (DBM) required.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale work.
• Arabic – Native / Mother Tongue, English – Very Good.

Responsibilities

• Promote Heavy Equipment Products and Services.
• Diagnose, repair and overhaul all Diesel engines within approved standard repair times.
• Maintain administrative procedures and resources appropriate to the job.
• Identify sales opportunities and maintain customer contact.
• Ensure quality control of repairs.
• Prepare paperwork and documents for technicians.
• Report any unsafe equipment to the supervisor.

Field Service Supervisor

Reports to: Service Manager

Field Service Supervisor is held accountable for achieving agreed workshop plans and results and is responsible for running the operation to ensure accurate troubleshooting of engine faults both mechanical and electrical, facilitating minor/major repairs and overhaul of Diesel engines, both in Workshop and in a field service capacity.

Responsibilities

• Promote Heavy Equipment Products and Services
• Diagnose, repair and overhaul all Diesel engines within approved standard repair times and in line with pre-set quality standards
• Develop and maintain administrative procedures and resources appropriate to the job/department
• Be aware of sales opportunities by being familiar with the local territory, customers and maintain customer contact
• Control the quality of repairs
• Prepare technicians paperwork and documents wherever required
• Report any unsafe equipment to your immediate supervisor or safety representative

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering discipline (Mechanical/Technical) and Management qualification (DBM)

Experience

• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale work

Language Requirements

• Arabic – Native / Mother Tongue
