Job summary

Baker Hughes is seeking a Field Service Engineer - Instrumentation & Controls in Qatar to coordinate and supervise field-site activities for installation, commissioning and maintenance of company equipment. You will engage with customers and site teams to ensure safe and efficient operations.

Role requires 8+ years in engineering or a full-time diploma, with hands-on experience in Mark VIe/VI/Mark V instrumentation and controls, installation/maintenance of rotating equipment, and TPS product

Qualifications

8+ years engineering experience or full-time diploma/equivalent.
Experience with Instrumentation & Control systems (Mark VIe/VI/Mark V).
Experience in installation and/or maintenance of rotating equipment in the field.
TPS product line training is a plus.
Strong communication, interpersonal and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and oversee field-site work with safety compliance and guidelines.
Provide advice and support to clients and craft labour for installation, commissioning, and maintenance.
Assist start-up engineer during commissioning to ensure proper operation of equipment.
Perform minor/major maintenance following TPS site quality checklists.
Act as primary contact with customer and site team to coordinate activities on site.
Provide limited troubleshooting on equipment under maintenance or installation.
