Experienced Mason

We are in need of an experienced Mason to join our team in Al-Khor, Qatar. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in masonry work, with a focus on building and repairing structures such as walls, floors, and chimneys. The candidate should also be skilled in working with various materials such as bricks, concrete blocks, and stone.

Responsibilities:

• Read and interpret blueprints and construction plans to determine the layout and materials needed for each project
• Measure and cut materials to specific sizes using hand or power tools
• Lay out patterns or foundations according to plans using chalk lines, plumb bobs, and levels
• Mix mortar or grout and spread it onto surfaces using trowels or other tools
• Use specialized tools such as brick hammers and chisels to shape stones or bricks for fitting into irregular spaces
• Repair or replace damaged bricks, stones or other masonry units
• Ensure that all work is completed in accordance with safety guidelines

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working as a Mason
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Ability to read blueprints and follow construction plans
• Familiarity with different types of masonry materials
• Physically fit with the ability to lift heavy objects

Salary: $1700 per month
