Job summary

RKH Qitarat is seeking an Engineering and Maintenance Director to lead the Engineering & Maintenance teams for safe, affordable and sustainable operation of Doha Metro and Lusail Tram. You will be part of the senior management team and drive strategic plans for the maintenance function.

Key responsibilities include managing budgets, subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards while delivering cost-effective, reliable transit services.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years' experience with relevant senior leadership in Engineering, Asset Management and Maintenance.
• Experience operating at board level and leading delivery teams.
• Proven ability to manage technical topics, drive initiatives and meet customer expectations.
• Strong commercial acumen with a track record of cost efficiencies and revenue generation.
• Excellent project and contract management skills for complex engineering projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct Engineering & Maintenance teams for safe, affordable, world-class operation.
• Develop and implement strategic plans for the maintenance department.
• Manage relationships with subcontractors to deliver high-quality services within budget and timeline.
