Executive Director of Finance - Qatari National Only

Mackenzie Jones has been assigned this highly confidential brief from a leading player in the Qatar energy sector. They require a highly talented Qatari Finance Director with drive and ambition as part of my client’s next stage of development.

Role

• Oversee a rapidly expanding Finance and IT department
• Oversee the production of all accounting statements and reports
• Work closely with the CEO to formulate and drive strategy, annual business plans, policies and procedures
• Ensure the Finance/IT team are empowered and have all resources to execute business strategy
• Take an active role in any growth or investment opportunities that arise
• Oversee all relationships with external auditors, consultants and other relevant finance/banking institutions
• Manage key internal stakeholders effectively
• Ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements

Qualifications

• Qatari national
• Extensive relevant senior finance experience
• Recognised finance related degree, ideally with a professional qualification (CA, CPA, ACCA etc)
• Exposure to the Energy sector
• High energy, great communication skills, an empowering management style and determination to succeed
