Role Summary

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic leadership, guidance, and support in the administration of operations, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and accreditation standards. The role involves planning, developing, implementing, and evaluating new clinical outreach opportunities in collaboration with key service line and departmental leaders. Additionally, it includes supporting senior leadership in strategic planning, project facilitation, productivity and operations improvement, strategic analysis, space planning, and other strategic activities within the hospital.

Education/Qualifications Required:
  1. Basic medical degree from a recognized institution
  2. Master's Degree
    • Qualification sourced from: North America, Western Europe, Australia, or New Zealand.
Experience Post-Qualifications:
  • Minimum 12 years in a healthcare setting at a senior level.
  • At least 5 years in business development activities.
License:
  • Current and in good standing medical license to practice in the country of residence.
Job Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Ensure compliance in support services with JCI and healthcare regulations, monitor operations, and initiate necessary changes to meet strategic goals.
  • Lead and direct hospital support services and provide administrative guidance to clinical departments to ensure high quality care and service.
  • Establish departmental strategic plans, assess performance metrics, and implement corrective actions to improve service and performance levels and promote growth.
  • Provide strategic leadership and guidance to develop business cases for new opportunities, utilizing a data-driven approach in partnership with stakeholders.
  • Review department KPIs regularly and take corrective actions when performance does not meet expectations.
  • Lead cross-functional teams, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and best practices.
  • Oversee fiscal operations, including budget development, capital expenditures, and adherence to financial plans.
  • Lead special projects critical to hospital growth and success.
  • Mentor and motivate the Business Development team through effective leadership.
