Executive Chef vacancy in Ar-Ruwais Qatar

Executive Chef for African Cuisine

Our restaurant in Ar-Ruwais is seeking an experienced Executive Chef specializing in African cuisine. This is a contract position with a salary of 1400$. The ideal candidate should have a passion for African cuisine and a strong understanding of traditional dishes and cooking techniques. A biometric passport is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities:

  1. Design and develop menus featuring authentic African dishes
  2. Oversee the kitchen operations and manage a team of cooks and kitchen staff
  3. Order and maintain inventory of ingredients, supplies, and equipment
  4. Ensure quality, consistency, and presentation of all dishes served
  5. Train staff on proper food handling, safety, and sanitation procedures
  6. Monitor food costs and budget to maximize profitability

Requirements:
  1. Minimum 5 years experience as an Executive Chef in an African cuisine restaurant or hotel
  2. Strong knowledge of traditional African ingredients, flavors, and cooking techniques
  3. Ability to lead and motivate a team in a fast-paced environment
  4. Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic language skills are a plus)
  5. Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
