Job summary

SteelAxis in Lusail, Qatar is seeking an experienced Excavator Operator to join our construction team. You will operate and maintain excavating equipment and follow project plans to complete tasks safely and efficiently.

Requirements include a high school diploma, at least 2 years operating excavators, a valid driver's license, and the ability to read blueprints. Fluency in English is not required, and you will receive full-time employment with benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of experience operating excavating equipment.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• Knowledge of excavation techniques and safety procedures.
• Ability to read project plans and blueprints.
• Physically fit to handle the demands of the job.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate various types of excavating equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers and skid steers.
• Follow project plans and blueprints to accurately complete excavation tasks.
• Monitor equipment performance and report any maintenance or repair needs.
• Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and regulations.
• Communicate with other team members to coordinate tasks and ensure efficiency.
• Keep accurate records of tasks completed and materials used.
• Perform basic maintenance on equipment as needed.
