An Airswift is seeking an EPRS Specialist to work with our client based in Qatar.

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in sciences or engineering
  • 8 years’ experience in technical roles in petroleum or chemical plants, focusing on design, inspection, and maintenance of process equipment, with extensive knowledge of design standards, specifications, codes, safety criteria, offshore facilities & structure design, construction, and operations.
Job Purpose
  • Develop and implement processes and procedures to ensure operational readiness for Offshore projects' Emergency Pipelines Repair System (EPRS), including risk assessment, design, and procurement to mitigate emergency scenarios.
  • Ensure EPRS systems for new projects meet operational requirements, integrating with existing EPRS tools.
Key Accountabilities
  • Maintain awareness of pipeline design, operation, limitations, and uncertainties, and update related manuals, procedures, and studies based on industry standards and company policies.
  • Provide expertise in pipeline isolation, including inventory management of equipment, tools, and spares for various scenarios.
  • Engage proactively with the team to accelerate EPRS development activities for new and existing pipelines.
  • Identify and address gaps in current EPRS tools and procedures, ensuring technical usability and compatibility.
  • Seek continuous improvement opportunities in EPRS processes, equipment, and documentation, adopting industry best practices.
  • Support scope of work development for pipeline isolation under various defect scenarios.
  • Guide issue resolution to support the safe execution of EPRS projects.
  • Share lessons learned to inform review teams and future projects.
  • Align technical aspects with company operations; familiarize contractors with execution plans, procedures, and objectives, including scope of studies.
