Lead Structural Engineer - EPC Projects
Location:Doha, Qatar
Industry: EPC / Energy / Infrastructure
Contract Type: Permanent

We are recruiting a Lead Structural Engineer to oversee the structural engineering workstream for major EPC projects. The role spans early-stage concept design through to detailed design, with a focus on quality, safety, and constructability.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead structural engineering design across Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design phases

• Validate technical deliverables for compliance with project scope and codes

• Coordinate internal structural teams and interface with interdisciplinary leads

• Plan, allocate, and review engineering tasks and manage budgets and forecasts

• Oversee procurement-related technical documentation and vendor support

• Ensure timely delivery of engineering packages and resolve technical challenges

• Develop and monitor engineering schedules and performance reports

• Review staff performance, support team development, and conduct technical audits

Candidate Requirements:

• Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering

• 8+ years’ experience with at least 5 years in a lead or supervisory role

• Experience in EPC projects; GCC experience a plus

• Proficient in STAAD.Pro, SAP2000, Tekla Structures

• Knowledge of structural design for pipe racks, modular structures, and supports

• Familiarity with SAP or other ERP systems

• Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
