Environmental Site Surveillance Specialist role with Qatar Airways in Doha is responsible for ensuring airport facilities meet environmental management system requirements, regulatory obligations, and sustainability standards through inspections, audits, and monitoring activities.

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine environmental site surveillances, inspections, and audits across airport facilities.
- Identify environmental risks, non‑compliance issues, and contaminated areas and recommend corrective actions.
- Ensure adherence to EMS, CTO, and applicable environmental laws and regulations.
- Perform environmental monitoring related to air quality, noise, groundwater, wastewater, emissions, and spills.
- Collect, validate, and manage environmental data and submit reports through internal systems.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and ad‑hoc environmental monitoring and compliance reports.
- Inspect hazardous materials handling, storage, transport, and disposal activities.
- Investigate environmental incidents and prepare root‑cause analysis and preventive recommendations.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, audits, and environmental registers.
- Support environmental programs, audits, awareness initiatives, and continuous improvement activities.
Ideal Profile
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience.
- Practical experience with ISO 14001 environmental management systems.
- Prior experience and certification in hazardous materials handling.
- Knowledge of environmental spill response, contaminated site assessment, and remediation.
- Strong understanding of environmental laws, regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Proficient in preparing technical reports, SOPs, and compliance documentation.
- Strong computer skills including MS Office applications.
- Valid driving license.
- English proficiency; Arabic language skills preferred.
