Key Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee the group-wide compliance program, ensuring alignment with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies
• Develop, maintain, and monitor compliance frameworks, governance structures, and compliance risk management initiatives
• Identify emerging regulatory and compliance risks and define proactive mitigation strategies
• Develop and update compliance policies, standards, procedures, and guidance materials
• Provide expert compliance advisory support to senior leadership and business units
• Ensure compliance considerations are embedded into business processes, contracts, and operational decisions
• Direct internal compliance investigations related to misconduct, regulatory breaches, and third-party risks
• Liaise with regulators and government authorities as required
• Oversee compliance audits and examinations, ensuring findings are addressed effectively
• Prepare comprehensive compliance reports for executive leadership and board-level review
• Design and deliver compliance training and awareness programs across the organization
• Promote a culture of ethics, integrity, and accountability throughout the group
• Coordinate with legal, risk, IT, HR, security, and other governance functions to ensure integrated compliance operations
• Manage third-party compliance risks including due diligence, sanctions, export controls, AML, and ABC requirements
• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of compliance professionals to drive performance and capability growth

Ideal Profile

• Bachelor's degree with at least 10 years of relevant experience, or diploma or vocational qualification with at least 12 years of relevant experience
• Specialized background in compliance, regulatory, audit, or governance functions
• Proven experience managing compliance programs in large multinational or government-related organizations
• Strong leadership experience managing teams and complex compliance frameworks
• Knowledge of aviation industry compliance preferred
• Expertise in areas such as anti bribery and corruption, AML, sanctions and export controls, third-party due diligence, and compliance risk management
• Experience conducting regulatory audits, investigations, and compliance assessments
• Strong analytical, communication, reporting, and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to influence senior leaders and manage multiple priorities in dynamic environments
