Job summary

North Oil Company Qatar in Doha seeks an experienced environmental professional to support environmental management and regulatory compliance across operations. The role covers emissions monitoring, waste and chemical management, NORM and radiation-protection data, as well as oil-spill preparedness and EMS requirements, with regular offshore site visits.

You will coordinate data collection, reporting, audits and stakeholder engagement, interfacing with Operations, Engineering, Projects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering or related discipline.
• Master's degree preferred.
• ISO 14001 Lead Auditor or Internal Auditor training.
• International Maritime Dangerous Goods (IMDG) training.
• IMO Level 2 oil-spill response training.
• Radiation Protection Officer certification or recognized training.
• Minimum eight years of relevant professional experience in environmental management.

Responsibilities

• Environmental reporting including greenhouse gas emissions reporting.
• Methane emissions reporting in line with OGMP 2.0.
• Environmental KPI monitoring and performance tracking.
• Environmental permitting and regulatory compliance.
• ISO 14001 EMS implementation and continual improvement.
• Oil-spill preparedness and response coordination and drills.
• Environmental data collection and digitalization.
• Regular offshore visits for audits, training and environmental surveys.
