Job summary
V2X Environmental Specialists is seeking an Environmental Specialist to support compliance, water management, and recycling efforts in industrial settings. You will assist with hazardous materials programs, inspect workplaces, test water quality, and support a Qualified Recycling Program with adherence to regulatory standards.

Qualifications
- High School diploma with ≥6 years of environmental work experience or an associate degree.
- Experience with environmental, safety and health inspections in construction is preferred.
- Familiarity with US Army environmental regulations, safety guidelines and EPA/DOD standards.
- Desirable 40/24-hour HAZWOPER certification; NEBOSH is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Monitor use of Environmental Management practices in the workplace.
- Advise workforce on environmental compliance and prepare inspection reports.
- Test drinking water and wastewater for adherence to standards.
- Assist with Qualified Recycling Program and hazardous material handling.
- Receive/store hazardous waste per EPA and DOT regulations.
- Develop environmental training plans and present safety and health training.
- Participate in Environmental Working Groups and promote ISO 14001:2015 compliance.
