Job summary

Confidential in Qatar is seeking an experienced Environmental Manager to implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan on construction projects. The role requires ensuring compliance with Ashghal specifications and local regulations, and coordinating with project teams to mitigate environmental risks.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years in environmental management on infrastructure sites, with preference for experience on Ashghal projects in Qatar and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in environmental management within construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience with Ashghal projects in Qatar is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor the Environmental Management Plan (EMP) per Ashghal specifications and Qatar regulations.
• Conduct environmental inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project requirements.
• Monitor dust, noise, wastewater, waste disposal, and pollution control measures.
• Ensure proper handling and disposal of construction and hazardous waste.
• Prepare environmental monitoring reports, inspection records, and compliance documentation.
• Identify environmental risks and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Coordinate with project teams, consultants, and client representatives on environmental matters.
• Conduct environmental awareness training for site personnel and subcontractors.
