Job summary

Tanqeeb in Qatar seeks a Facilities Engineer to manage operation and maintenance of electromechanical building systems, ensuring safety and compliance with technical standards. The role coordinates maintenance activities, monitors systems, inspects facilities, and supports planning of technical teams to sustain reliability and QHSE adherence. The engineer will work closely with supervision and contractors to achieve high standards of performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years Facility Management experience.
• Experience with similar-sized projects within the GCC.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
• QCDD certification preferred.
• Grade B classification by Kahramaa / competent authority preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preventive, corrective, and reactive maintenance activities.
• Monitor electrical, mechanical, ELV, HVAC, and associated electromechanical systems.
• Conduct technical inspections and identify maintenance requirements.
• Troubleshoot technical faults and recommend corrective solutions.
• Coordinate supervisors, technicians, and specialist contractors.
• Monitor system performance and reliability.
• Ensure compliance with QHSE and applicable technical standards.
• Prepare technical reports and maintenance recommendations.
• Support planning and supervision of technical teams.
