Job summary

Work standard is seeking an experienced Electrician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The role involves electrical maintenance, troubleshooting, and installation of systems, with a salary of 1700 (monthly).

The successful candidate will perform electrical maintenance, adhere to safety regulations, and communicate with customers to assess needs and provide advice on electrical matters. A Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering and at least 5 years’ experience are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience working with industrial electrical systems.
• Demonstrated knowledge of relevant safety standards and building codes.
• Excellent communication skills in English (verbal & written).

Responsibilities

• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems and components, such as wiring, conduits, transformers, circuit breakers and switchgear.
• Ensuring that all work is carried out according to relevant safety regulations and building codes.
• Inspecting electrical components such as transformers, circuit breakers and switchgear to diagnose issues or potential problems.
• Diagnosing faulty circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters.
• Communicating with customers to assess needs and provide advice on electrical matters.
