Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing electrical systems to ensure they are working properly, as well as inspecting, testing and diagnosing malfunctioning systems. Responsibilities:

The primary responsibility of the Electrician is to install, maintain and repair electrical wiring, fixtures and other components of electrical systems. This includes reading blueprints or other diagrams to determine the layout of systems and circuits; installing electrical wiring in walls and ceilings; connecting wires to circuit breakers or other components; replacing faulty switches, outlets or circuit breakers; testing circuits for proper functioning; troubleshooting malfunctions; locating shorts in wiring using test instruments; repairing or replacing faulty wiring or broken connections; making connections between different pieces of electronic equipment; performing preventive maintenance on electrical equipment and systems; completing reports on work done; following safety rules when working with electricity.
