Job summary

MGallery Doha is seeking an Electrician to perform installation, maintenance, and repair across the hotel to keep facilities safe, reliable and fully operational. You will troubleshoot electrical systems, carry out preventive maintenance and coordinate with Engineering and other departments to minimize disruption for guests and Heartists.

The role requires a technical qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering, prior electrician experience in hospitality or commercial settings,

Qualifications

• Electrical engineering qualification or certification required.
• Previous experience as an Electrician in hotel, resort, or commercial environment preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, equipment and safety procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical installation, maintenance, inspection and repair throughout the hotel.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, lighting and appliances.
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure electrical systems operate safely and efficiently.
• Respond to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests promptly.
• Ensure all works comply with hotel procedures, safety standards and local regulations.
• Inspect equipment and report faults or hazards; maintain records of work orders.
• Coordinate with Engineering team and departments to minimize operational disruption.
• Maintain tools, equipment and work areas in clean and safe condition.

What you will be doing

• Perform electrical installation maintenance inspection and repair works throughout the hotel
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems equipment lighting and appliances
• Carry out preventive maintenance to ensure all electrical systems operate safely and efficiently
• Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and maintenance requests
• Ensure all electrical works comply with hotel procedures safety standards and local regulations
• Inspect electrical equipment and report any faults hazards or required repairs
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and completed work orders
• Coordinate with other Engineering team members and hotel departments to minimize disruption to operations
• Maintain tools equipment and work areas in a clean and safe condition
• Support emergency response and other engineering requirements when necessary
• Contribute to maintaining a safe comfortable and well‑maintained environment for guests and Heartists

Your experience and skills include:

• Technical qualification or certification in Electrical Engineering or a related field
• Previous experience as an Electrician, preferably within a hotel, resort, or commercial environment
• Good knowledge of electrical systems, equipment, and safety procedures
• Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication skills and a proactive approach to work
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
• Flexible to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required
